YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS

The goal of the Youth Recreation Programs is to encourage participation, skill development, socialization, teamwork, and FUN!

FOUR STAR BASEBALL

This is a recreational travel baseball league.  Approximately 50% of the games are in Estes Park and 50% are in small Front Range towns.

Registration:  4/1/10 thru 4/23/10

Program Dates:  Mid May thru July

Ages:  9 & 10 (Pee Wees)

          11 & 12 (Juniors)

          13 & 14 (Seniors)

Ages determined by the participants age as      of 6/1/2010.

Fee:  $65 In District thru 4/23/10

        $86 Out of District thru 4/23/10

After 4/23/09, $75 IN, $96 OUT

INSTRUCTIONAL BASEBALL

Registration:  4/26/10 thru 5/24/10

Program Dates:  6/8/10 thru 7/15/10

Ages:  5, 6, & 7 (T-Ball)

           8, 9, & 10 (Little Sluggers)

T-Ball hits off a T

Little Sluggers is coach pitched.

Fee:  $33 In District thru 5/24/10

         $44 Out of District thru 5/24/10

After 5/24/10, $39 IN, $50 OUT

ROCKIES SKILLS CHALLENGE

This is a local competition with winners advancing to a sectional and state competition.  The competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in running, batting, and throwing.

Program Date:  Wednesday, June 23

Time:  11:00 a.m.

Ages:  6 & 7; 8 & 9; 10, 11, & 12.  Male and Female.  Age as of 12/31/2010.

Fee: Free

Location:  Stanley Park

BEGINNER TENNIS LESSONS

Session 1:  Tues & Thurs TBD

Session 2:  Tues & Thurs TBD

Session3:  Tues & Thur TBD

Ages:  8 thru 16

Fee:  $40 In District, $53 Out of District

YOUTH SOCCER CAMP

Kay Hays, boys and girls E.P High School soccer coach in conjunction with E.V.R.P.D will again do her late summer soccer camp.

Registration:  6/1 thru 7/31/10

Camp Dates:  8/3 thru 8/7//10

Time:  9:00 to noon

Ages:  5 thru 14

Fee: $45.00/child includes a camp shirt.

YOUTH & FAMILY VAN TRIPS

Summer van excursions are open to adults and youth.  Children must be 10 years of age or older and capable of unsupervised use of the scheduled facility, or they need to be accompanied by an adult.

SPECIALTY CAMPS

Camps are all held at the Estes Valley Youth Center, 380 Community Drive
