The mission of the Estes Valley Youth Center is to provide activities for youth in grades six through twelve (ages eleven through eighteen years) in a safe environment.

 Located in Stanley Park, a short walk from the Estes Park schools campus, the Youth Center is open during the school year from 3:00 until 6:00 PM (from 11:30 AM until 6:00 PM on “early release days”) each school day.  The Center is open to all youth, residents and non-residents alike.

 Amenities at the Youth Center include a pool table, foosball table, large screen television, computers, board games, and arts and crafts materials and school supplies. Vending machines offer soft drinks and snacks at a nominal cost.

 Youth Center activities are planned at a monthly program committee meeting held on the third Tuesday of each month. These meetings are open to all youth and ensure youth input into all Youth Center programs.  Programs and activities include Friday Afternoon Videos, arts-and-crafts activities, off-site van trips, “homework help”, “Board Game Thursdays”, and other events as determined by the youths. 

 The Youth Center is also the home of the Stanley Park Skate Complex. The Skate Complex consists of a 6,000 square foot skateboard/BMX/in-line skate park with thirteen ramps and rails and a regulation-sized in-line hockey rink. The Skate Complex is open every day of the year during daylight hours.  The Skate Complex is not supervised but skaters are encouraged to wear the appropriate safety equipment.
